We are the Augusta / Aiken Chapter of The United States Amateur Dance Association. Established in 1999, we are a non-profit organization for the purpose of promoting ballroom dancing.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
As a chapter of USA Dance, it is our mission to improve the quantity and quality of ballroom dancing in the Central Savannah River Area. We strive to provide a common bond in the dance community by supporting all professional studios as well as amateur dance organizations in their efforts to develop ballroom dancing.

Monthly Dance Info
Every Third Saturday of the Month!
Our dances, unless otherwise noted, are held on the THIRD SATURDAY of each month. The dance is held @ American Legion Post 63, 90 Milledge Rd. Augusta, Georgia from 7:30 to 11 p.m. Doors open @ 7:00pm. Lesson from 7:45-8:30 p.m. If you are able, please bring something sweet or savory for the goody table. Tasty food, the best dance floor in the CSRA, great music, a friendly and welcoming atmosphere all add up to a perfect Saturday evening experience. Cost is $8.00 for USA Dance members or $10.00 for non-members. For additional information, call Kay Cooke at (706) 210-8780. Join us for an evening of fun and fellowship! BRING A FRIEND INITIATIVE!
We are continuing our new "Bring A Friend" initiative. If you bring a friend that has not been to our dances before, you will pay only $5 admission. Your friend will also pay only $5 this first dance. We want to spread the fun of dance to more people!

Board Members / Position / Responsibilities & Duties
President: Kay Cooke - Presides over the meetings and spokesperson (public relations) to promote ballroom dancing in the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA)
Secretary: Lynn Underwood - Keeps minutes of all meetings. Keeps records of votes at meetings. Coordinates the College & Youth Programs. Oversees the development & administration of ballroom dance programs, focusing on college & youth groups.
Treasurer : Vickie Cason - Trustee of all monies and deposits them (is bonded). Maintains accurate records. Presents financial reports at all board meetings. Makes annual financial report to USA Dance at the national level . Ensures an audit is conducted each year.

**The Board of Directors is still searching for volunteers to help out by assisting in several areas. Please donate a few hours in areas such as: set up, clean up, greeting, membership, social work, advertising, etc.**
