Welcome To USA Dance Chapter 6074
We are the Augusta / Aiken Chapter of The United States Amateur Dance Association. Established in 1999, we are a non-profit organization for the purpose of promoting ballroom dancing.
MISSION STATEMENT OF USA DANCE CHAPTER 6074
As a chapter of USA Dance, it is our mission to improve the quantity and quality of ballroom dancing in the Central Savannah River Area. We strive to provide a common bond in the dance community by supporting all professional studios as well as amateur dance organizations in their efforts to develop ballroom dancing.
The United States Amateur Dance Association is a national organization devoted to promoting dancing on both a leisure and competitive basis. To learn more about USA Dance, you can click HERE and view their promotional video.

We look forward to meeting you at a future event and hope you will join our chapter!
Our monthly USA Dance will be this Saturday the 16th of May, which is Armed Forces Day. The theme will focus on our military personnel. USA Dance Chapter 6074 will honor these special men and women by showing appreciation of their service to our country as they protect our freedoms every day. We are encouraging our members and guests to wear red, white and/or blue. We have invited a few special guests from the Warrior Transition Battalion to join us. Let’s make this gathering an evening to remember. Please bring a covered dish or tasty snacks to share. We will eat at 7:00 and dancing will start at 7:30. Music will be provided by our chapter’s president, Rudy Brostrom. From 8:00 to 8:30, Megan and Marie from the Ballroom Dance Center will conduct a waltz lesson. Beginners are encouraged to attend and practice their skills on the wonderful dance floor offered by the American Legion Post 63 (90 Milledgeville Road, Augusta, Georgia). Cost is $8.00 for USA Dance members or $10.00 for non-members. For additional information, call Rudy Brostrom at (803) 442-9337.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE USA DANCE CHAPTER #6074 DANCE SCHEDULE
USA Dance Chapter 6074 will NOT be holding its dances on the first Saturday of each month as we have been doing for years. We will instead be holding our monthly dances on the THIRD SATURDAY of each month. Our next dance will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the American Legion Post 63, 90 Milledge Rd. Augusta, Georgia from 7:00 to 11 p.m. The board meets at 6:00 before the dance (same location). Feel free to attend the board meeting to have input or to discuss any concerns you might have. If you are able, please bring something sweet or savory for the goody table. Tasty food, the best dance floor in the CSRA, great music, a friendly and welcoming atmosphere all add up to a perfect Saturday evening experience. For our May 16th dance, we have invited three to four active duty military couples because this is also Armed Forces Day and nine days later May 25th is Memorial Day. Our dress theme for this dance is wearing red, white and/or blue. This is to honor those presently serving and those who have given their lives for our country. You may also invite other active duty military (note: they must have a military ID card.) and, hopefully, they will wear their uniforms. The American Legion is an Outstanding place to support our troops. Let's all show our support and "give it our all" to make our military visitors FEEL OUR SINCERE APPRECIATION. God Bless America! See you on May 16th!
